Review - The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026)

Hey guys, Chuck here, and this is my review of the new movie The Mandalorian & Grogu, the newest film in the Star Wars franchise. Directed by Jon Favreau, this movie stars Pedro Pascal, Jeremy Allen White, Steve Blum, Jonny Coyne, Martin Scorsese, and Sigourney Weaver.

So, the movie follows Din Djarin/The Mandalorian, along with his Force wielding apprentice Grogu, as they traverse the galaxy working as independent contractors for the New Republic to bring in Imperial warlords for questioning. And, their newest job puts them in the crosshairs of the Hutt duo known as The Twins, who seek the return of their nephew Rotta, son of the late Jabba the Hutt.

So, I gotta say that I had fun with this movie. Pedro Pascal was terrific reprising his titular role from the Disney+ streaming series The Mandalorian, and I also enjoyed the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Jonny Coyne, along with Steve Blum as the voice of Zeb and Jeremy Allen White as the voice of Rotta the Hutt. The action, spaceship scenes, and heartwarming moments involving both Din Djarin and Grogu were thoroughly enjoyable, and this was a fun Star Wars movie overall.

But, I do have to admit that this movie is for a very niche audience, specifically those who enjoyed the streaming series The Mandalorian. If you're not caught up with the three seasons of the series, of have never even watched the series, then this movie probably isn't for you. But, as someone who DID watch all three seasons of The Mandalorian, I had a fun time with this movie, and I do recommend for fans of The Mandalorian.

Alright guys, this is Chuck signing off, and I'll see you next in my review of Mars Attacks!.
